Technology Licenses and Credits

This website utilizes free frameworks and data sources to render all data maps and diagrams.

Country shapes are derived from datasets of Natural Earth, which were published as public domain. Shapes of UK countries, autonomous communities of Spain and federal states of Germany were published under the MIT-License by Mirko Westermeier.

The physical data layer uses map tiles data from Mapbox.

Frameworks and tools used for this project:

• Leaflet - an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps (FreeBSD License)
• jQuery - a fast, small, and feature-rich open-source JavaScript library (License).
• Colorbox - A lightweight customizable lightbox plugin for jQuery (MIT-License).
• Bootstrap - a HTML, CSS, and JS framework for developing responsive, mobile first projects (MIT-License).
• Mojolicious - a real-time Perl web framework (Artistic License 2.0).
